Stem and Forefoot

The stem and forefoot have been subjected to some considerable number of repairs of varying quality which has left a rotten and weakened structure that needed replacing.

The bow is supported with cradling and shores

The profile of stem and forefoot are lofted to full size and patterns lifted

Steel rivet headed bolts are forged, using a die plate, threaded and heavy galvanised for bolting the forefoot and stem assembly
